We are excited to premiere our 12th commission from the GRWC Memorial Fund titled “I AM” by Jocelyn Scofield as part of our Spring Concert “Finding Home”. Ms. Scofield will be at our Friday evening performance to share a little about the process of commissioning … and to hear her work performed for the first time.
This season the GRWC is exploring the concept of “home”, of belonging, of feeling comfortable in one’s skin and in the world. Featuring dynamic vocal soloists as well as diverse compositional styles from pop to jazz, you will not want to miss this memorable night of stories and song.

Every season since 2012, our singers have chosen a community non-profit organization to “Give Back” to with a portion of our spring concert ticket sales and through volunteer opportunities. This season we are working with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County. We know you will help us support them through concert ticket purchases, but if you would like to support them in other ways, here is where you can find more about the important work they do in our community.

Nothing beats the magic of a live musical performance, even if it’s on video! Our concert videos capture the passion and talent of our singers as they interpret our unique repertoire. With lush harmonies, foreign languages, social justice themes and pure fun we strive to educate and inspire our community to promote justice, peace and equality.

Sing with us, volunteer or book us for an event. There are plenty of ways to get involved with our work. GRWC relies on the generous support of our community and fans. We could not bring our musical message of justice, peace and equality to the Grand Rapids area without your support and involvement.
