The GRWC is excited to present a 10-movement dramatic cantata celebrating the life and legacy of Pauli Murray, a pioneering Black legal scholar, civil rights activist, feminist, poet, labor organizer, LGBTQI+ advocate, and the first Black female Episcopal priest. Through the transformative power of choral music and storytelling, we will illuminate Pauli Murray’s profound impact on American history. In conjunction, GRWC is offering community workshops exploring Murray’s groundbreaking ideas on Intersectionality and her advocacy for race and gender equality.
