Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus, giving a joyful voice to women’s lives.
We sing choral music that celebrates the rich diversity of women of all races, ages, cultures and traditions.
The Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus is an energetic group of volunteers who are passionately dedicated to singing music that delights, uplifts and educates our community. We believe music is a powerful tool to promote equality and social justice, and that all our lives are enriched by experiencing the power of performing arts.

Voces of Resilience: 30 Years of Passion. Purpose. Song.
St. Cecilia Music Center
May 30 – 31, 2026
Through the theme of resilience and overcoming adversity, we explore how marginalized communities persevere and advocate for change despite obstacles. We sing about empathy and understanding and the importance of listening to people’s stories. Ultimately, this season calls us to stand by our neighbors when they need us most: to stand up, speak out, and draw strength from unity and collective action as we work together to create meaningful, positive change. We hope you will join us.

Legacy of Activism: Sincerely Yours, Pauli Murray
Thank you to everyone who joined us on March 21. Your presence, curiosity, and openness helped make the evening exceptionally meaningful and powerful. We are grateful for your support – not just in showing up, but in engaging with the life and legacy of someone who challenged injustice and expanded what courage can look like. The story does not end here. Take what you learned, what moved you, what stirred something deeper and carry it forward. Speak up. Keep learning. Stand for others. Let that same passion and persistence guide the way you move through the world.
Thank you for being part of this shared experience.
