Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus, giving a joyful voice to women’s lives.
We sing choral music that celebrates the rich diversity of women of all races, ages, cultures and traditions.
The Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus is an energetic group of volunteers who are passionately dedicated to singing music that delights, uplifts and educates our community. We believe music is a powerful tool to promote equality and social justice, and that all our lives are enriched by experiencing the power of performing arts.

#GivingTuesday
We love Giving Tuesday because it showcases the power of community. Thank you for being a part of ours!
When we come together to make music, we change hearts and minds. We foster connection with others, build self-confidence, work toward our common goal of raising up women’s voices, and use the power of music to delight, uplift, and advance the cause of social justice.
We strive for the chorus to be a safe and inclusive space where singers can express themselves without fear of judgment. We live and love to sing, and we yearn to share what we’ve learned together through our hard work with as many people as we can, regardless of finances.
Please help us do that with your donation of any amount to the chorus this Giving Tuesday!
Winter Concert
St. Cecilia Music Center
December 9 and 10, 2023
This season the Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus is exploring the concept of “home”, of belonging, of feeling comfortable in one’s skin and in the world.
We will celebrate the brave stories of women who came before us, who spoke up with a voice of activism in the hopes of making the world a safer place for all of us to live. We will explore the spiritual side of belonging….how we find and stay connected to something bigger than ourselves.
Expect to hear of the legacy of Ida B. Wells, poetry from Langston Hughes and Brandi Carlisle, and as always, to feel the strong surge of deep and uplifting music. Join us for a memorable night of stories and song. For more concert details please click the button below.
As always, for our Winter Concert event we do not require tickets, but we will gladly accept your donations at the door.
