Many of us marched or watched with admiration as thousands of people participated in the Women’s March this Spring, creating a national movement to unify and empower everyone who stands for women’s rights, human rights, civil liberties, and social justice for all.
The Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus is proud to lift their voices to celebrate this unity, and will be offering songs of light and empowerment in their Spring Concert, “We Are One”, on Saturday May 20th at East Grand Rapids Performing Arts Center at 8:00 pm. As always, you will hear a variety of musical styles - lush contemporary pieces for 4 part women’s voices, world music and folksongs, jazz and pop. Come enjoy an evening of affirmation, unity and hope.
